Estimating materials and size of the patio is the first step and an important one. This process will get the ball rolling for the paver patio project.

Tip: figure out the area of the paver patio by square foot, have this number ready to give to a paver dealer or contractor, so they can give you or deliver the correct amount of pavers. Estimate 5-10 % more, because having more product is better than being short pavers. If you have left over materials, most dealers or home improvement stores should refund your product when you return it.

Estimating the materials needed and choosing the pavers you want can be a difficult process. Hopefully suppliers and Paver dealers will have the products you desire to get a start on your future patio project.
